6TH GRADE WINTER SPORTS OPPORTUNITIES

After the tryouts/clinics for each sport are completed, if there are not enough seventh-graders to fill a complete roster for any 7/8th grade cut sport, there will be a separate tryout for any sixth-graders who would like to fill the remaining spots. At no time will a seventh grader lose a roster spot to a sixth grader, regardless of ability.

If there are n available sports, then sixth graders will not be able to attend a tryout.

• For cheer and poms, to learn the routines, sixth-graders can attend the clinics. They will be informed at the clinics whether they can attend the tryout on the final day based on the number of seventh- and eighth-graders attending.
• For all other sports, after the second tryout, if there are remaining sports, there will be a separate sixth-grade tryout date announced.
