Eligibility- Highland is required to follow the IESA rules in regards to academic eligibility.  Details that were explained to students can be found on the Program Overview tab below (by the calendar).  In short, if a student is failing any class (overall grade is a U) on the last school day of the week (usually Friday) when grades are checked, they may not participate in meets the following Monday through Saturday, regardless of whether they bring up the grade in the meantime.  They MUST still attend practices, but will not be able to be in meets.  Failing to follow this rule could result in the entire team being removed from the State Competition.

If you have any questions that are not discussed above, please feel free to contact Coach Carollo or Mrs. Langlie, the Athletic Director.
