Initiatives for the HMS Equity & Inclusion Committee in the area of Professional Development:
22-23 School Year
- Develop and share mini-lessons on E&I for staff during team meetings and staff meetings.
- Continue to look for potential speakers at staff meetings.
21-22 School Year
- The E&I Committee will preview PD activities for staff at HMS. The E&I Committee plans to present to staff 4 or more times before the end of the school year.
- In addition, the E&I committee will explore and secure potential speakers for staff regarding Equity & Inclusion.
20-21 School Year
- Share resources for future use within the E&I Committee and HMS Staff
Provide Summer Professional Development Opportunities for staff members in the areas of equity and inclusion
