On the first day of school, 7th and 8th graders will report to the blacktop on the north side of the building and 6th grade students will report to the doors near the southwest side of the building near the bicycle racks. Staff and teachers will greet and direct students from there.

6th-grade students must submit requirements before they receive their child’s class schedule and before the start of school. Link to Medical Information

Teachers will also have hard copies available for students on the first day of school.

If you have not purchased a PE Lock yet please do not worry. Our vendor has had a supply chain issue and our order has been delayed. PE locks will not be needed to start the school year. More information will be shared with students from our PE Department.

P.E. locks must be Highland-issued locks and are sold separately. Students can use an older sibling’s lock if it was issued by Highland Middle School. HMS issued locks are required as administration must have the ability to get into lockers if needed. For more information about Physical Education at HMS, click HERE.
